Christopher co-founded First National Realty Partners (FNRP) in 2015 with the goal of creating a real estate acquisitions and operating platform that would allow high-net-worth individuals and family offices to seamlessly invest in Institutional-Quality Real Estate. Along with his partner, Anthony Grosso, Christopher built FNRP around cultivating strong relationships with national-brand tenants and brokers to achieve high-value acquisitions.
Together, they also saw the opportunity to enhance investor returns by self-managing all aspects of a shopping center throughout the lifecycle of the investment’s holding period. Instead of outsourcing key functions like asset, property, and construction management, leasing, finance, capital markets, legal, investor relations, and acquisition functions that most private equity real estate funds outsource, FNRP brought these completely in-house. This vertically integrated focus has allowed FNRP to have more control over the property and deal in order to maximize ROI for investors.
Since its inception, Christopher has led FNRP to significant growth, owning and operating 44 properties with an owned portfolio of over 6,000,000 square feet and an additional 1,500,000 square feet under contract and in the closing process. Christopher has also overseen capital raising and marketing efforts at FNRP which have resulted in $400,000,000 of equity capital raised to date to support the firm’s acquisitions. Recently, Christopher was interviewed by WealthManagment.com when FNRP made the list of Most Active Buyers of Grocery-Anchored Centers.
Christopher focuses on strategic planning, capital raising, marketing, and identifying new business opportunities. Christopher continues to raise brand awareness for FNRP through creative marketing efforts to raise capital.
Prior to founding FNRP, Christopher enjoyed a very successful 15-year career in the investment banking and financial services industries. In his free time, Christopher collaborates closely with Anthony to focus on raising awareness on the benefits of investing in retail real estate. Christopher has co-authored two books on commercial real estate investing includingThe Art of Commercial Real Estate and Value Added Real Estate. When he is not in the office, Christopher is a devoted father who enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid fisherman.
